I made the drive to Vince's place (omega tintwerks) last year and don't regret it... Referred a buddy of mine their that has the IS 350 and vince did a great job on his tint and clearbra....Vince does great work...

^^^ If on front side windows, yes. Anything darker than 70% is illegal on those windows in Cali, though lots of ppl tint them anyway, as myself.

Back and rear side windows, no restrictions. You can go limo (5%) if you want on those.

imo, anything darker than 50% or 40% on fronts will attract attention from the LE, but it depends on your area. Some LE don't care, some have a big bug up their wazzoo about it.
I have 40's front and 30's rear side and back. No problems so far.

Cost...varies with shops and what type of film you choose.

Do a search in this section. I remember a post about Bay Area shops and their prices with type of tint films.

 

ANY tint on the front side window is illegal, regardless of percentage.

Every single car has come back looking flawless without a hitch. For the 740il, we did 5 windows which cost $250. Very fair pricing. He also does clear bras. I had my G done and it was about $175-$200 I think.

CALIFORNIA AUTO TINTING 408.370.9399, in campbell. i have clear armour and window tint on mine. 50% on the front, and 30% on the qtrs and back. the tint was $275, and the clear armour was $725. i think they worked out a deal for me, since i was getting both services. also, keep in mind the tint looks darker if your interior is dark. if you want to see what a finished job from them looks like, let me know.

 

Hi Shannie, the price seems a bit high comparing to Chris in pleasenton, some guy posted that for the combo service, he charged around $750 total. Was your good deal beated that one,? but campbell seems more close to me though. Can you show me some pics regarding the result, thanks a lot.
