Service at Frontier Infiniti.

BTW, I briefly spoke w/ William today of Frontier Infiniti and told him of this thread. From my personal experience, William and Frontier Infiniti has nothing but GREAT with me when I go in for my service. He calls me whenever I whine about anything about my car. Like I'd mentioned before, they roll out the red carpet for me whenever I'm there and I hope that doesn't change.
Sometimes, when you tell someone about something that they're not doing well would cause them to change for the better.
Peace!

I disagree most woman are not taken as people that know anything about cars. Most service managers will tell most woman anything to get them to leave there office and tell them anything to make an extra parts sale.
G-girl thank you for your help. I hope William will look at this thread and maybe read around and help us all with this oil consumption problem.

It was my ex-SIL.... she "was" the GM of one of the Infiniti down in SoCal. It was just to cut me a good deal on a new G Coupe... the GM @ Frontier asked me what color I wanted and that was the only time I'd heard the man's voice. I haven't seen or heard from him since and none of the guys including the Service Mgrs even knew of this "deal" until it's now being posted publicly on this board. So, the special treatment that you may be insinuating that I may be getting is far from the truth. I think I just got lucky w/ William when I was assigned to him (or he to me) and as a woman, I've never felt that William has ever tried to "pull a fast one on me" or even looked down on me.
I believe that people or places of business need to be told that they're not doing something right in order to correct it. Most of them are unaware of their behaviour. It's not a matter of complaining, it's a matter of giving them a second chance and make something right out of wrong. It's human nature (well, most human beings) want to do good. I think by saying something who works @ Frontier and with this information, it will travel to the top (hopefully), they can change for the better with their service. I also believe this will benefit not only them, but to the folks who may or are going to Frontier.
So, with this said, I hope that clears the air about me getting preferential treatment from Frontier.
I believe most car dealerships cater to women nowadays because we are carrying more "clout" than a lot of men and because of our financial independence and our rising status in the workforce. I recently test drove a beautiful Cayman and considering of purchasing one. The man who helped me was cordial and respectful because most of his clients nowadays are women. Which is about time!

^ You would hope that would be the case although you must enter every situation with eyes wide open. I've talked to the owner of Frontier and like I stated before, I know why their service sucks. As an employee you may want to do the right thing but if the policy of the company is such that you do not have the authority to do so it's the powers at be are the problems. The owner of Frontier his main concern is not the quality of service but how much money goes in his pocket. Again, with this type of owner what else would you expect but service that sucks. Another problem I have, it's one thing to be cheap and try to get out of fixing something under warranty and try over charging but most of the service advisor have f**ked attitudes as well. Bad service, bad attitudes, everything flows downhill.
Working in marketing, the key is customer service. The best advertising is through word of mouth, it's sad that the owner of Frontier is oblivious to this idea and in the long run it will accomplish both results great customer service while earning more money.

It's really doing them a disservice as well. We, all of us, are in or near the heart of Silicon Valley. Do people and organizations locally still not know how powerful the internet is? We, including Frontier Infiniti are in the high-tech capital of the world and certainly the Internet is an enormous asset to have as a business. Unfortunately it can also bite you in the *** as far as "checks and balances" for your business or organization. Sure a lot of people needlessly bitch on forums, but a lot have valid experiences that can warn, help or assist in making decisions as far where to take you vehicle. I'll tell you this much, I used to be in the car business, and right now if I was a service advisor I would be on the forums like these EVERY DAY looking for experiences good or bad and trying to network business for myself. Why Dealerships ignore the internet is still beyond me and in the end will prove to be a disservice to them.

If you do a search you will see there are alot more complaints than satisfied customers with Frontier. I found out why their coustomer service sucks......when talking to the owner he had the same f***ked attitude and that attitude flows down hill.
