^I'm down for whatever. Hopefully the big event will be a go but if not...a smaller meet with Nor/So Cal will work.

In trying to generate interest I needed a bigger turnout for voting on one or the other date. The voting or even choosing a date seems to be slow..I'm giving the poll another few days to decide if I go farther..There has been a few people really helping out here and if it doesn't happen I would drive up to whatever comes later...

^ Dont abandon the Idea...IMO I think you should try and do a independent FOR SURE head count on your behalf and Us NorCal ppl will do one too. lets just Set the date for the 18th. and have it at the beach. Since we know that its not going to be a big think we can make it a mini 50-60 cars is not that bad even if we only had 40 that would make it a fun weekend. Thats just my 2Cents.

If we have a close headcount by Aug. 6th or so I will call Fins restaurant (right on the beach) and see if we can get he patio area for the 18th. It should be slow about that time because the schools here are back in. The parking lot there is really big. We can still cruise to Avila for some photos also if anyone wants.

After Lisa Calls the park I'm going to start a new thread for the 11th..

Rotary Centennial Park, Santa Maria - Has a compact parking lot but it does have 104 spaces and some curbside parking also. Has plenty of picnic tables (covered) and a nice bbq area to hold as many as we have show up. as of Friday It was available on Aug. 11th. It's $180.00 for reservation, additional $40. for bbq pits.
