Ok, lets make this as clear as I can be to everyone...The meeting location is in the PM that I send you guys and then we are going to take drive down to Monterey (ending location), we will be stop at Capitola for short break and wait for few ppl coming up from Salinas and some others taking the twisty routes. Most of times ppl from different loactions want to meet up with someone is in their area and then drive together to the main meeting loaction, hence the various caravan locations like Sac, FF, Hayward, San Jose...If everyone would just take couple of minutes going over the PM that I send to everyone, you guys might understand this lil bit better, but I know thats just way too easy to do. Perhaps with reason. I wasn't there, so I cannot say. However, it looked like trouble from the get go at one of the previous runs, not so long ago. Myself and another member afforded a courtesy pass to a bunch of cars leaving a staging area prior to a freeway entrance. We missed the light. We ran for some 10 minutes at speed and finally shut it down. I can only imagined how fast the pack was travelling.
It was a scramble, to say the least. As an unsuspecting driver witnessing a large pack of cars scrambling down a public road, I would have called 911.
Regardless of what drive route info is or is not made public . . . If you attract attention to yourself . . . You will get nailed and have no one else to blame.
