Hey Tony, I'm very tempted to go along with you guys after we come back to Alice, probably I wont go all the way down to S/C, just want to drive part of Hwy 9 for lil while, I am sure you can get few other guys to come along as well, will talk to you at meet.

 

everyone have a safe time on the drive...damn all these meets are on days i work so i can never go...

it was a nice pleasant drive... no tickets. i was told that a bunch of people that got tickets or at least stopped by the cops. we are at a brewery in half moon bay right now. there are about 10 of us here... did you see anyone getting pulled over?

 

i saw a truck off the road. 3 highway patrols there, and a white z, black celica, and white accord pulled over. a bunch of us stopped at some little town a mile after we saw that. and we got word that were was some sort of blocade, that the HP were pulling everyone over and giving tickets for no front plate and tint. then some of us turned around and went home.

i'm still in south bay visiting with some friends but i'll fill in the deets for the group that went far ahead. I was one of the very last cars in the last group. after alice's we left and those of us in the back passed a truck face down in a deep ditch, the 07 z and the white accord with 3 cops. we all slowed down and got to a stretch where shane was waving us off the road. apparently a road block was set up further down and they were ticketing for no front plate and tint. jondimellow, grace, shannon and myself turned around and headed back. shane was encouraging others to do the same and someone with a legit 300zx went to go check out the situation.

I was really lucky that I didn't get a ticket today (would've gotten one for tint). I was traveling behind the pack that got pulled over, but there was a porsche boxter S in front of me, and a carerra S behind me, with about a 3 car gap in front of the boxter. cop pulled up in front of me and the boxter with lights flashing. i kinda knew what was up, and so did the boxter in front of me, so we pulled off into a driveway (where shane, shannon, adrian were when i came back later) for a bit. After a few minutes, i left that area with the porsches and passed by (slowly) where the cops were. The turnout was basically filled up with z's and g's, so i think the cops were done after pulling over that initial group. I eventually turned back (since i couldn't see anyone ahead/behind me) and met up with shane. I went home for lunch shortly thereafter.

hopefully they were giving out tickets for tint and license plates only, and for nothing serious like CARB violations

 

Wow! Sounds like a bit of a heroin run/experience, which you folks had. I trust that everyone got home safely.

 

lol I was behind the carrera S and the cop that pulled the first team over was all over my ***. He wasn't flashing his lights but was tailgating me so I just pulled over and stopped following the carrera S. The cop just passed me and went on to pursue the front pack.

Good thing I made a u-turn into the motel right before the roadblock or I would've been slapped with a front license plate ticket.

I wonder who called the cops on us. 1/2 an hour later I managed to find a detour in that "jungle" and we managed to escape.

I saw the black 350z back into the 300zx with my own eyes though sadly...

I'm not expecting Shane to post many driving shots like usual, since I spent half the run sticking to his rear bumper.

 

I was one of the G that got pulled over. There was about 10 of us. The cop went in the front pack and blocked the road while other cop at the end blocked us in. Overall I was stuck there for 1 hour. I got a tint ticket, no front licence ticket. And also I had a provisional licence and I had a passeneger so We were ****ed big time. ****ign hate those Bithces ARHGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
