It's amazing how we can justify mods.

Sorry to hear about that, Tony. The good thing is that they'll have to pay for the damage.
One time my buddy had his car in the shop for some work. This happened way back when 49ers won a championship game. Anyhow, we go drive around in my car to celebrate the win on Mission Street with everyone else and guess who's car we see?
Me: "Dude, that car looks just like yours!"
My friend: "Can't be mine. Mine is in the shop and that one is filled with people."
Me: "Ya, but that's your mechanic driving!"
Funny as hell.

Update: So apparently, what happened is that the left rear wheel came off during the test drive. I've been told that there's no underbody damage, and that the damage is limited to the left rear brake rotor (on which the car landed), and the rear bumper/splash guards. I'm going out to the body shop on Monday to eyeball the damage for myself. And the tire shop is arranging for a vehicle rental on Monday (per my request). So we'll see what happens.
