where's a good place to go for mounting/balancing wheels close to north oakland? preferably a place that will carry hubcentric rings, won't damage wheels, etc etc.

does rite-way wheel in walnut creek do this stuff?

While they're a chain, I've always had good luck with Wheelworks. There should be an oakland location, give them a try.

 

As for wheel repairs of bent, scratched, or cracked wheels I recommend taking it to SIK Industries off of the 101fwy on Trimble Rd.
