Cool Headlight uninstall/install

hey guys, i was looking to get my headlights customized and painted. I was wondering if somebody on this forum can help me uninstall and install my headlights back on when i recieve it from the shop for generous amount of money or some ....beer

I would like to do this soon, so please pm me and we can work out a price that works for the both of us

i am lookin for somebody local only, the kind of work done by IvoryGT is something that the shop will do. I need help so i can take off the headlights and take 'em to the shop..

Yes, I have looked at DIYs for taking off the headlights. I am saddened to say this but, I am not as handy as I'd like to be, lol. Plz help me get my headlights off! hah

I sent my lights out to Ivory and honestly, it really wasnt that hard. There are so many great DIY's on this topic that pretty much everything is listed for you.

It's easier than it looks. You just remove the bumper then unbolt them. Just remember to level/align the headlight beams once you put those back in.

so all you need is someone to pull your headlights off? does this have to be done at your house?

why dont one of u help me do it, if its so easy!? lol, dude i am tellin u, i suck at this, much rather have somebody else (who knows what they are doing) take a shot at it. thanks a lot for the diy's!! really do appreciate all the help being offered, u guys!

any takers? lol, i would prefer to have somebody come by and help (if possible), i am not too sure if the cops would like me driving around without headlights, haha, cant i get a ticket for doing that?

btw, i live in fremont (close to the hub)

Funny thing is I just swapped out my headlights earlier today. It took me about an hour. You are located in Fremont? Are you going to be running without headlights?

I am located in fremont. Am I goin to running without headlights? I really dont want to, in the risk of getting pulled over.

its really not hard to remove the bumper..i've done it many times and have no trouble and I am not handy at all..

but removing the headlight casing, thats another issue
