New Look - Blacked Out

A couple of weeks ago, I posted my fender rolling mod https://g35driver.com/forums/northern-california/160350-fenders-rolled-lic-motorsports.html. Here is why I did it:

I had the rims powder coated at Wheel Techniques, tint at Mach III and DIY the grille black. I'm not satisfied with the grill...paint came out uneven and more of a flat black, rather than satin. I'll probably redo after it's chipped.

Man, my photography skills suck

Looks good. I think a set of blacked out headlights would set it off quite well.

+1. The all black is kind of a downgraded look IMO. Looks cool on a WRX, but a G35, not so much.

+1

Do the headlights next and polish/strip the paint off the lips of your rims.

Thanks for the comments. I'm thinking of blacking out the headlights...that'll really test my DIY skills.

You guys know your SF 'hoods...yup, Richmond district off of Fulton where I'm staying temporarily.

Dismounting, powdercoating and mounting onto new tires - $150 per rim.
