Concord=good, Oakland=grr

I called a couple of dealerships this morning to track down my tps situation and all I have to say is wow.
It's amazing the extreme in sevice and information I got in one simple phone call.

I called Oakland Infiniti first and told them of the situation with my tps ghost and asked if they had the means to track it down. (Thanks to you guys, I knew there was). I was told there was no way to find a code and there was no machine to check it. All I could manage was a, "Really?". I won't tell you my feelings regarding lazy service reps...

I called Concord with the same exact question and got a simple, "Of course, bring it in. It will only take a moment". Props to Jeff at Concord. I was there a whole 10 minutes, wasn't charged, and he solved my problem.

I don't know why I try any other dealership. I'm always, without fail, treated well at the Concord dealership.

I have a dead tps on the rim that was taken off and polished.
Problem almost solved.

I was at Concord this morning, having some boo-boo's taken off the rear bumper. +1 for Concord as well. They have a guy that will fix/paint the bumper for me. Hope it turns out good!

I have exhaust, CAI, plenum, aftermarket swaybars, they seem to not mind these mods. In fact get compliments from them.

The only thing Oakland was good for was the online quote I got from them for $4500 off MSRP on my 05 sedan. Which I promptly took to Jackie in Concord for a price match. I think Oakland is part of the Hendrick Group in pleasanton, the Acura one where you can't wear jeans to drive an Acua.

Having recently gone to both, I think they are the same depending on who you deal with. Oakland did not pressure me to get the 30k service while Concord did. They are both over priced in terms of service. I hate all dealerships.

Just got my oil change in Oakland last week and they are under new management. Not sure if that has to do with anything.

On the another note, they have a NICE 2005 Bentley Continental GT for sale there. It has 10k miles on it and for $147k, it's yours.

So far my experience at Oakland Infiniti has been pretty pleasant. We'll see what happens when I run into bigger issues.
