See you in Stockton next month.
[QUOTE=limeg35]Let me throw this out right now, I am a freaking idiot!, I was trying to get ahead of the group so I can take a vid of the caravan coming down Hwy 1, I finally got far enough ahead, pulled over, got my camera ready, and there comes the caravan, push the button, ready to record....hold on...being the idiot that I am? I pushed wrong button, I pushed on/off button rather than RECORD, by the time I trun the camera back on? half the caravan has pass by me already, definitely not worth the extra gas that I waste passing everyone by, certainly not worth getting scolded by THE boss "watchingandy" for driving just smidgen over speed limit

Don't yell at me. I didn't tip off Redwood City CHP and had nothin' to do with Officer M. showing up. He's an academy classmate of mine and a good friend. I'm sure he was professional and treated all of you respect.

1st Meeting point - Cop was following us from San Mateo Bridge

Michael (from Texas) and Rob were convincing the cop that we weren't a bunch of street racers!

g35 chippie,
Officer M. was quite cordial . . . Yes, he acted in a professional manner. Upon arriving at our staging site, Officer M. had ample reasons to cite many of us for various reasons. Yet, he opted not to.
During a discussion at a meal, it dawned on a few of us, as he parked his cruiser, a few of us, myself included, headed towards him. I have to believe that this may or may not have made him a bit uncomfortable. Nonetheless, he conducted himself in a stellar manner.
This was a good encounter with a LEO. We all appreciated the manner in which he handled the situation.
