15k service due.

i figure there are a few things that i can do on my own, like changing the in-cabin filter. anyone else want to meet up for a service mini-meet this weekend lol.

i'm up in north oakland and would be willing to meet up within 20 miles of here. let me know...

I can replace your cabin filters in about 10 minutes each. If your ever in the sunset in SF and need it changed, let me know.

15k service was just oil, cabin filter, tire rotation(sedan), and just a bunch of visual checks......If I remember right.

Mine just came up also. I told them I'd do everything on my own. The only two things I bought were the engine air filter (it was black after 15,000 miles) and the in-cabin air filter. The latter I haven't replaced yet since I'm kind of scared of breaking those little clips. I need time so I don't rush it, ya know?

saturday or sunday daytimes are fine with me. sunday, i'd prefer earlier in the day since i was planning on doing a taco run to international blvd with a friend (might pass now that i know an A's game is going down that afternoon).

if ppl post up what times work, i'll send a group PM and we can figure out the details. any of you have a garage we can use?

My garage is small so that won't work. Anyone else? Looks like Sun might be the best. Any time sunday for me.

yeah at this point sunday is looking good. either early evening or mid morning. anyone else?

i have some experience taking apart the dash (installed my ipod hookup myself) but no experience with the engine air filter. i figure the in cabin one should be easy enough.

Both are really fast to do. Shoot me a pm if you want to drop by my place and I can change them out for you. I live in an apartment building, so I could only have 1 or 2 cars at a time drop by. I'm off 18th ave & lincoln. Or if you need any help with it nearby, I can do that too. BTW, I have the shop manual and an elm5 obd-ii scanner for future reference.
