Getting this thread back on track, I'd like to have a G35 movie event this Friday (only listing "after work showtimes) or this weekend (all showtimes). Specifically I'd like to go see Cloverfield.

It is going to be playing at:

Century 20 in Daly City (1901 Junipero Serra Blvd., Daly City, CA 94015):
Friday: 6:25PM, 7:55, 8:55, 10:25
Saturday & Sunday: 12:25PM, 1:10, 2:55, 3:40, 5:25, 6:25, 7:55, 8:55, 10:25

Century 9 in the new Bloomingdale shopping center in downtown SF (845 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94103):
Friday: 6:15PM, 7:15, 8:30, 9:40, 10:50
Saturday & Sunday: 12:30PM, 1:45, 2:50, 4:00, 5:00, 6:15, 7:15, 8:30, 9:40, 10:50

That's a lot of showtimes to choose from, so I recommend one around our usual meeting time so something between ~6:30-8ish. Is anyone else interested in this?

I don't know their exact reason is but I'm willing to bet that it has to do with the huge speed bumps most parking garages have. Lowered cars and large speed bumps tend not to go well together.

Looks like people want to do Vietnamese instead of D&B so count me out. I'm going back to seeing Cloverfield.

Motif is in downtown San Jose, right next to the Agenda.

Don't forget that a car parked at a movie is there unattended for about 2 hours, giving theives plenty of time to act like the car is theirs. The only ones looking out for the cars is the lazy security that probably doesn't care. This is one of the places your car is more likely to get broken into or vandalized. One nice car in the lot is screaming for enough attention, now park 10 or so Gs next to each other and we're asking for trouble.

We can always park them away from each other. I understand your viewpoint but still, theres a point where you don't stop going to stuff just because your car. Unless you get a beater or something.

+1 I've been going to Century 20 every since it opened, and for the past year and a half that I've had my G. No one has ever touched it during that time. If you want to be careful, by all means, we can spread ourselves out through the parking garage and take photos before or after the movie in another location.
