Gauging interest of next drive.

THIS MEET WILL BE HELD ON SEPT. 2ND...DETAILS AND SIGN UP THREAD WILL BE UP IN FEW DAYS...THANKS ALL.

********** IF YOU ARE NOT IN THIS AREA? PLEASE DO NOT VOTE. **********

Few had ask me about out next driving meet, my reply to them was, I’m not sure if we have time to do a meet before the 9-15 Pebble beach drive with Z and Labor day weekend, or enough interes since they are mini meets popping up all over but I will let you guys decide if you want one before Pebble beach.

The destination will be Bodega bay and it will be on a Sunday of your choosing, we will be taken hwy 1 up to Bodega with plenty of twisties with some good elevation changes, not to mention the views, will be meeting up some where around Mills valley/Corte Madera, due to lack of parking spaces at various Bodega bay’s restaurants, we should find some place for lunch at meeting location before we leave for drive.

Since I don’t know the area well, if you know some places with decent parking and food? Please suggest them, one place I have in mind is Buckeye’s roadhouse, its on the way of our driving route but its bit pricey or we could meet up few miles up at Corte Madera Village, it has plenty of restaurants and parking. Let me know what you guys think.

Here is the pic thread of last Bodega Bay drive...

Sounds tempting but I'm spread thin already. I loved the drive we did last year to Bodega bay. I had fun driving back home too. I'll keep an eye on this one in case my schedule eases up.

Can only make it in September. However, I'll check with the House Moderator.

Bodega bay run....

I made a simular trip a few years ago in my '92 300ZXTT from S. Ca to
Oregon staying on Hwy 1 whenever possible. Just my wife and I with our
camera and Z.....one of the best times of my life. Took almost two weeks
because we stopped quite often. Came back on Hwy 5 with a detour in
Tahoe which took several days....fun!

R

I can do the September dates but not the August ones.

This is what we'll be like 50 years from now:

I see Shane taking pics on the side of the road with his walker, Kris flooring it out of the turns, Boris would have the only white Model T, and Shannon would be getting us the senior citizen discount for the early bird dinner special.
