Syncro going out in tranny, Infiniti in Sac questions and concerns

Hello all, I currently have a G35 and i can tell that my syncro in third is going out infact unless i hold in the clutch for like 2-3 sec before putting it in gear my 3rd gear will grind. so luckily i am under manufactuer warrenty on that, but i live in chico ca, so i have to go to Sac infiniti to have it fix
Does anyone have any history on them ? are they going to be cool or should i come guns blazing lol ? i also have a plenum spacer, are they going to sweat me on that saying it void my warrenty ?

any help would be nice also if anyone has suggestions of like go here talk to so and so that would be weet too

thanks

i have heard of g's grinding gears and the dealer just swapping out trannys, so i dont think you really have a problem and the spacer doesnt affect your tranny unless they wanna be dicks and say they arent going to warranty it cause you have a spacer and that means you race your car. just take it out if your worried only like 10 mins to uninstall

I have gone to Sac a few times for my service work. They have been cool so far and have complimented me on most of my limited mods. Although don't expect them to go above and beyond for you. They only do the stuff on the service order nothing more nothing less. They may be kind of short/rude too but they will get it done. Most of the service techs are much nicer than the writers. Go figure!!

no problems at sac infiniti so far, I like it over elk grove because i don't kill as many bugs driving 80. I almost religiously go to Dan in the service department, he's a cool guy and will listen to any problems you have and try to get them fixed. Also if you tell him you have a certain pet peeve, like that friggin tire shine they put on after the wash that just spins off all down the side of my car when I drive home. He'll make sure they know not to mess with it.
