If this happens so often, maybe it is time to look at your driving style ... But of course, it is easier to blame others Fire away ... They are all idiots ...

 

I have road rage, if another car pissed me off and it was at night, esp if they were tailgating me, I would get behind them and blind them with my lights. I aimed my projectors extra high so I can see better, but who knew it also comes in handy to **** off other drivers on the road when they **** me off first.

 

I'm moving back to LA in about 2 years too!!! But yeah this place has "THEE" worst drivers I've ever seen. LA is bad but not as bad as Norcal, in my opinion. In addition, with all the income that the tech industry makes you would think that from all the taxes that the engineers pay would go towards the roads, again certain places have crappy highways, sometimes I don't even know if there are 4 lanes or just 1 big one, where the hell are the lines at?!?!?

I think the worst thing that ever happened to me in LA was when I was driving a black 1991 Nissan NX2000 and drove over wet white paint that probably fell off of someones truck during the night. I love white polka dots <3.

 

LOL, I get cut off by people almost every day. It's become the norm for people to just change lanes and not bother to look. I think in general it is becoming more common for people to just not drive as careful as they used to. Plus the low profile of the G makes it a little tougher for those soccer moms to see it from their high up SUV's while on the cell phone doing their nails and drinking a java. But that is just a thought.

Mad! Hey, we may see each other in L.A. whereabouts? Yeah, drivers here are the worst... however today, I did an experiment... I drove with my head lights on to work... nobody cut me off, one idiot who was about 6 inches from my front right bumper almost cut me off, but he stopped... probably saw my headlights.


Maybe I should aim mine high too! LOL

 

thats 880 for you, east bay drivers are the worst!!! over on the westside people are more pleasant.

 

hahah i hate when i am in a car an somoen blames the other driver when they are signaling and they just dont want to let off to let them in and when they cut over they honk and get hella mad. i always tell them to stfu they where signaling it isnt thier fault your a jackass and dont want to let them in, and then they stop hahhahhahhha

 

I get tailgated more than anything else but I also do get cutoff once in awhile. Just last week, on the freeway, a Camry went by me and for some dumb reason, decides to cut into my lane right after passing me. His rear bumper probably miss my front end by maybe 4-6 feet. The thing that kills me the most was that there were no other cars around for a least 1/4 mile. Not sure what kind of BS he/she was trying to pull.

What gets to me the most is when people ride my azz when I have my kids in the car, especially people with oversize SUV/trucks. I'm sure they can clearly see my 5 month old son in the back seat since he's rear facing but they still feel the need to ride my azz. BTW, I"m usually in the 2 to right lane or going at least speed limit so it's not like I"m driving to slow and blocking traffic. Who knows, I try to ignore these guys since you never know what they will do.

BTW, I have a 05 DG sedan.

 

Ah, gdo, I'm sorry to hear about the tailgaters... yep, there are so many dumb drivers out there. IMHO, there's no reason to tailgate... none.

Take it easy out there with the idiot drivers.... you have precious cargo.

And all these years of living in the BA with it getting worse, I thought it was more and more LA drivers moving up here.
Being from LA originally, when I moved up here with my LA driving style...hehe, I used to scare the $hit out of my wife...
She put her foot up on my dash board getting ready to die from impact...lol and I'd say...WTF are you doing?!?!
But yeah, it seems it's worse hear now than LA was and is now...lol
LA is still Effin crazy though. Have a lot of stories what I've seen/experienced with LA drivers, that is when traffic actually moving

 

+1 on a lot of the drivers being bad up here.

I know what you mean about L.A. driving style... when someone pisses me off... I revert back to that driving which I rarely do.... and I scare the crap out of a lot of people! LOL

But here's where the problem lies... when people who didn't grow up or learn to drive L.A. style and try to drive that way... they just get themselves into a lot of trouble.

 

yea...tailgaters really **** me off. sometimes im in the slow lane doing 75 and they are on my ***...why not move over a lane and pass me...some people are just stupid.

 

Wow...thats sooo true. Learned in LA if your not aggressive, you'll get nowhere.

Anyway...I have a DG and if its any consolation, I don't have ppl doing the same, well... not as much stuff they doing to you. Maybe the headlight thing is something to consider all the time. Just a thought, hate to hear you get rid of your coupe cuz of other ppl on the road with you. Tailgaters I hate. Sometimes I give them a little 'brake check' and then they back off. It's funny to see their face when I do that. Sometimes I purposely slow down just to **** them off and then they finally go around me.
Ummm...be careful giving the bird. Now-a-days you never know how crazy the other person is... and no I'm not kiddin seen it happen.

 

Scary thing is some drivers don't even know they're tailgating! It's just how they drive. That's how one of my friend drives.
