$500 sounds fantastic. But think if that was your wallet. You would be sweating right now. Maybe that 500$ was for a gift for his anniversary or something.
I always just think, what if that was me. It usually leads you toward the right thing.

If I were going to steal... I'd make it worth while. I'd steal $500million or more... not $500. I'm a big fan of "doing the right thing no matter how hard it is" it should've been returned to the rightful owner.
