There was a post a while back by Droppin Deuces recommending this shop so I made an appointment and went to try it out.

A little background: I have an 06 sedan with 350z revised all around, plus coupe 19"s. It has rubbed just ever so slightly in the passenger rear when hitting big bumps, but I wanted to make sure that it didn't rub at all when I get a trunk full of luggage and passengers in the rear.

I must say that I am impressed with LIC's work. Kevin was the one at the shop who did everything today, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Also got to meet Noah and Adam, owners of the shop. Very cool guys and it's definitely a clean joint they have there. $60 a wheel, was done within an hour. No cracked paint whatsoever, no noticeable warpage of any sort.

They're in Novato, and I'd recommend them without hesitation to any one else in the Bay Area looking for quality work done. Kevin also informed me that although they specialize in Subies, they're also fine with working on bolt ons for other cars as long as the parts are of reputable origin (don't want to work on crappy components that might not even fit).

slight waviness, not noticeable in person. I honestly can't tell if this was there before or as a result of the rolling but it's really minimal.

sorry, i'm not too familiar with the process, but what exactly is being done when your rolling the fender? i saw a vid of a guy doing it, so i assume your pushing up the inside of the fender for wheel clearance?

yea...you are pretty much pushing on the fender "lip" so that it flattens out. it gives more clearance for agressive wheel/suspension setups.

Finally got mine done today. Now waiting to wash my car and slap on the Privat Netz's.

viscous, glad to hear you had a positive experience with LIC. kevin rolled my fenders as well and they have held up well...it's been a few months now.

Can you please explain the process they used to roll the fenders (fender roller, bat, pvc pipe and heat gun...)

They are pro's so they use a fender roller. I have coilovers and wasn't dropped far enough where they have to raise my coilovers in order to fit the fender roller tool under the fender.

They heat up the area with a heat gun and then roll the tool back and forth. I didn't watch them that much but that's the jist of it.

When you go, make sure you follow the directions on how to get there cuz their address is on Grant but they are physically located on a side street.

Not looking so good no more. Found one rim had 2 cracks in it I don't know when I might have cracked it.

May have to think about switching to 18's cuz SF roads suck.
