From Oakland everything is fine until St Stephens.

Take the St Stephens exit. At the top of the exit, turn left and cross back over the freeway. Make a right at the stop sign onto El Nido Ranch Rd. Follow that along the freeway. Don't get back on 24 at Acalanes, continue on El Nido. It will cross back under 24 and end at Mt Diablo Blvd. Turn Left onto Mt Diablo and continue through Lafayette until Pleasant Hill Rd.
Obey all speed signs and NO revving through Lafayette.

Get back on 24 to WC. You will need to merge left 2-3 lanes to be on the correct side of the split. Look for the Ygnacio Exit.
Can you actually trust a woman's directions?

I'm kidding!!!!!

Only if you're planning on going to Oakland via 24 then switching over to 580 or 880.

I added a few notes in the BBQ thread. I feel like I'm leading you guys through a hornets nest in Lafayette.
I'll check the lanes tonight on the way home to see which one are drivable.

Dealers usually scratch the $%&^ out of your car when they wash it.

Never, ever, have the dealer wash your car. I won't say all dealers are the same but 99.9% of them do a real lousy job that will cause more damages in the long run. Might as well run your car through the auto carwash. Everytime I take my car to the dealer, I make sure they don't wash it.

Just a quick example. My buddy took his G to Infiniti and when they washed it, they used a wheel cleaner that damaged the finish on all his rims.

At least you don't have a black G.
