That's retarded.

I understand it's a show car and there is a lot of competition to be different and draw attention... but a water fountain is too much of a gimmick. What function does it offer? none... and as a piece of art, it's tacky and in bad taste.

Marty, you guys needed to rope off your cars man. To many people getting all touchy feely since you were so close to the stage.

Your G is awesome BTW!

Close to the stage is an understatement. My gawd did that area get filled up during the performances. Girl fight happened and I guess everyone rushed over to where they were fighting, which happened to be in front of us.

Dara Soldano got Infiniti Wild and a bunch of other awards.
National Guard got Infiniti Mild
Tu_clean got 5th 2dr street
I got the SUV trophy, pretty much by default since 1-2 other suvs showed up. I hate winning like that, it's pretty discouraging. Meeting people is the funnest part though, I'm sure there will be someone gunning to take me out eventually.

That was the first time I saw Dara's G in person. OMFG, I bow down to that thing. No disrespect to anyone with an Infiniti but that thing is easily the best Infiniti show car out there. It's a shame she's retiring it.

Thanks man, anything and anyone can be beat though. Nature of the beast, there's always going to be someone building something. The bars get raised and no car keeps it shiny luster forever.

The shows have been a great place to meet really cool enthusiasts. I don't know what's funnier, people not knowing what the hell my ride is or the look on some peoples faces when they find out I daily drive it and have no sponsors.

It's not that big of a deal to have no sponsors, the vast majority of cars at the shows are doing it out of their pocket. There's definitely nothing wrong with having sponsor support, most of the time it's not 100% free stuff anyways. Without the totally done up cars to make spectators drop their jaws the shows wouldn't be as fun to attend.

But DD, hell yeah. Office is 48-50 miles one way depending on which route to take. Any day I can drive this thing I do drive this thing.

When it's being worked on for several weeks to a few months everything is worth it when you get to enjoy it.
