it was a nice jolt.. but I think this would be it for now. The leaves in the trees are moving again and the sun is out.

Earthquake........?

I didn't feel a thing down here in S.Ca., are you sure? I've felt the earth
move before but it had nothing to do with an earthquake........

I felt it!! At first i thought i was going crazy. Until i saw it on the usgs map. No one at work felt it, just me and they all thought i was crazy too until i showed them the map

"Brocher did warn that the nearby Hayward Fault, which runs north from San Jose into the East Bay, is due for a magnitude 7 earthquake, which would exceed the energy released in Tuesday night's quake by about 60 times. The fault - currently considered the most dangerous in the region - averages a major earthquake approximately every 140 years and he said the last took place 139 years ago."

Yup...Haward fault has been talked about for years as a very dangerous fault due to no activity.

Some after shocks are so strong, makes you wonder if it wasn't a seperate EQ.

You guys ever seen a map of Cali with all the known faults? Our state looks like it's cracking up.
