Major props to Serramonte Nissan

After my new engine swap, I had a couple of issues. The last issue, which needed resolve, was a oil leak. The engine was leaking oil from day one after the new engine was installed. My garage floor is a mess.

Long story short . . . I took my car down to Serramonte Nissan for a 1500 mile oil change. I told Tee, the service advisor, that I had an unexplained oil leak, which had not been resolved.

While I was chatting with the service manager, John . . . Tee came back and asked me to follow him to the service bay. The 3 of us walked over to see the tech, Rob. Rob found the oil leak within minutes of the car being on the rack. I was the oil cooler gasket. I told him to fix it . . . He said that he had already done so. Now, that is service!

Props to John, Tee and the rest of the Serramonte Nissan staff. Needless to say, they will be performing all of my service work from this point on.

Andy, how much do you charge to come with me to the dealership? I'll pay you a flat fee or by the hour, name your price!

Must be due to his gun collection.

( Forgive me for going offtopic: ) Speaking of which, I thought we were gonna have a shooting range meet? I have a .44 magnum I can bring.

LOL . . . If any of you are considering Serramonte Nissan for any service work, give either John or Tee a call. Tell John that I sent you his way.

I'll share this info with my mom. She has been going down to Peninsula after Serramonte closed and their level/quality of service has been horrible. This may be a better option.

Yes, please advise you mom of this option. Also, please let us know of your mom's experience, if she so chooses to visit Serramonte Nissan.

Warranty at the same price? or place?

And why wouldn't your warranty be valid? Unless your have exceeded the year/mileage. Why do you need a rental car?
