Bent my Volk's.help.!
I've used Wheel Teq. in the past for curb rash and came out flawless...in fact, I have my wheels there now for enhancements and have no doubt that it will come out as expected. As for price, they've always been reasonable with me. Hope that helps.

SO looks like ill have to ship them off... racingharts j8's in gunmetal...kinda would love to roll on them again..of course i know id have to pay for shipping both ways

The only problem with bent wheel repair is heating the wheel and welding Fatigues the metal. making it softer. I had Racing hart c-2's on my acura CL-Type S. 19x8 and bent the $hit out of them all the time. Fixing them only made them bend easier the next time. So Got rid of them. Never had problems with the Volks. Hit many of the same pot holes No problem. Guess you NOR CAL peeps have Crater sized pot holes.
I also have a bent volk lip on my ce28 ta's, as well as some gashes on the spokes, does anybody know a good place that can take care of volks?

I've driven around the bay quite a few times I generally try to avoid the dips, potholes, and poorly built freeways. What size rims are you guys running? I'm on 19's and have accidentally hit some pot holes and my rims came out strong.
I have heard that repairing the wheel makes that metal weaker, can anyone really confirm this? Doesn't the rule where tempering metals makes it stronger but more brittle? If that's the case shouldn't we have wheels cracking instead of bending? I understand the concept of heating metal which in return makes it bend but from the manufacture isn't that how they generate these wheels? By ways of "forging" (to form by heating) which doesn't make sense when someone says that repairing your wheel will only make it weaker and more susceptible more damage.
