Anybody else going?

Yeah that's a big possibility as he is not as athletic anymore when he was with the warriors the first time. Well he's not as athletic as he was period. But I'm still rooting for him, and the warriors need that extra muscle.

Either way, it will be fun tonight in the arena...

I'm jealous that you're going.

[rant]My thing with Webber is about how he demanded to be traded and literally destroyed the team. After him, Nelson left, and we haven't had a winning season since. I don't want him screwing up the chemistry of the team now that he might be a starter. Wtf? [/rant]

I'm glad to see him back with the Warriors, but I have my doubts that he's going to be that big of an impact. Granted he's a mid range threat and the Warrior won't have to shoot so many 3s, Webber is way past his prime and I don't think he's going to be able to keep up with the speed of the team. Much like Shaq playing for Phoenix.

The Shaq move is funny. He's going to a running team when he can't even walk fast. If they got him for his D and rebounding, they must have not seen the Heat games 'cause that's what he's been having problems with.

I'm glad they got him though. Maybe now, if Webber actually helps the Warriors, we might gain ground on Phoenix. But watch out for the Lakers. Their trade was a good one for them.

Quote:
Warriors fans have been booing Webber since 1994, when the then-rookie superstar clashed with coach Don Nelson and crippled the franchise after asking to be traded. Neither man would back down until Nelson was fired and Webber was dealt to Washington after winning the Rookie of the Year award.
Quote:
"Hopefully time has gone by and people realize it was 15 years ago, but you have to earn the fans' trust," said Webber, who has career averages of 20.9 points and 9.8 rebounds. "It was a great feeling getting booed here when I played at Sacramento, because with booing is respect. You don't boo a guy that can't play."
Let's get Joe Smith, Latrell Sprewell, and Billy Owens back too.

I'll change my mind when Webber starts getting double doubles. Let's see how close to that 20.9 and 9.8 career average he gets then I'll gladly eat my words.

Who did Sprewell choke out again ?? was it PJ Carlesimo, I know it was when he played for the Warriors, I went to go see a live game when the Warriors came to play that season. I was in the 9th row and he was on a breakaway and he threw down one of his patented one foot jump 2 hand pullback dunks, man did he shake the floor with it, for a skinny guy his dunks had some major power.
it was one of these

He's choking the ball.

Since the West is so good, a bad streak and we'll be bumped outta the playoffs.

Watching the game right now.

It's funny . . . Baron, C-Webb & Harrington are on the court right now, and when they're in transition, I almost can't tell them apart cause they are all wearing orange headbands!
