I got mine few months ago on freeway 180, did 73 mph out of 65. The ticket was $250 plus $60 admistration fee? plus $17 traffic school online certificate ( 4hours exam). By paid the traffic fee and school online, it wont show up on my Dmv record. Watch out for these down hill terrain on 180 or 168, behind these bridge structures, they are there, shooting handheld speed detector directly at incoming vehicles....

yeah, becareful the end of month when they max their enforce to match up the ticket quotas. One of my coworker just got one for seatbelt, around $400. He went to court to ask for fee reduction...the judge gave everyone in the court room like 50% off from their tickets but when his turn, my coworker got like $50 off (13%). He asked why everyone got so much reduction but he wasn't. The Judge asks him where he lives and what's kind of car he drives (North east Fresno and 2000 Honda SUV). The judge thinks this reduction was good enough. Seem like if you are look like a gangter or where you live, you could get better fee reduction and try not to say "yes sir" to the judge, just like say "oohh...Grrrr, what's f$#".......it works!! :-)

Finally in the house and pretty much settled down. Maaaan what a pain in the butt. Any ideas on some weekends that might work for everyone to do a day trip over to the coast?

after you get the citation from the police, they would mail you a letter (couple weeks or a month from the date you got your ticket); either pay the fee plus traffic school or contest at the court. If you pick to go the court, I am sure there is a phone that you could call and make an apt with the court clerk....then show upl; dress poorly would help but I afraid when the judge asks you what's kind of car do you drive, a g35 would likely not "poorly" at all.

Dont go to downtown yet, trust me! they wouldn't never forget you; they will send you a letter to let you know how much the fine would be and steps you need to take action!!

good luck
