It's funny that everyone from out of town loves Splash Cafe's chowder, yet most of us that have been here our whole lives prefer Pismo Fish & Chips chowder. Splash's is very creamy, with a stronger clam flavoring. Pismo's is more like a chunky soup with some celery and other veggies with the clam chowder base.

We eat at Pismo Fish about 1 or 2 Friday night's a month, I love living so close

I love Avila, we ride the Harley out there a lot when it's nice to have brunch at Fat Cat's. We have two friends with sailboats moared there so we go out for evening cocktail cruises quite a bit when it's nice. Cruise around on the boat and watch the sunset.

Pete's cafe has great food (tacos) out on the pier, it's a great place to walk out grab some lunch and then sit at the end of the pier and take in the view.

You need to check it out when you get a chance
Lisa

Probably when my grandchild that is due in May graduates Cal Poly

Actually my husband has made a new friend, this friend is very into restoring old cars and has a 65 GTO. He is an older retired guy and he's been putting ideas in Mikes head and I think it's motivating him, there was an Original Parts Group catalog in the mail today

It's all cosmetic work at this point, the engine has been rebuilt, the brakes converted to disc and all the leaf springs & suspension replaced.

One of the problems with being self employed in this economy is we don't want to be spending money that we might need to keep an employee. It's hard to have them see us restoring the car and then have to lay someone off. Mike is very conscientious of those things, being a responsible adult sucks sometimes, lol.

That's so awesome, congratulations! Amanda doesn't know what she's having, I thought for sure her husband would not want to know and she would, but they both don't. She drove me crazy wanting to open Christmas presents as a kid, so I was shocked she decided to wait. She's due May 9th and is convinced she's having a girl, I don't really have a guess.

No matter boy or girl I know my husband will have it out hunting and camping, it's just a matter of pink or green camo, lol.
