I never used a spring compressor.... I put a tire down then put the bottom end of the spring on it then attach the air gun to the top then put the other tire on the air gun and go to town....works like a charm

Kill someone??? Come on dood!!! When I helped G drivers with spring installs before, I'd do it in my front lawn. One foot on the strut, the other on top of the spring. As I said, if you take precaution and don't aim it into your garage/car/person, you'll be fine; the tophat would shoot a pititful 2 feet!

I changed all 4 springs / struts on my car by myself. Using a 2x4 and compressor
high impact socket . Took me 2.5 hours.

dude boris dont be giving people ideas. just cause u are willing to take the risk shooting a compress spring is no joke. we had a shock shoot out by accident and it bounced around the garage and hit my friend in the face. if it didnt bounce around first he prolly would have broke his face and been knocked out

Take precaution and that shlt won't happen. If the strut is laying flat and you have your weight on the spring, it's not going anywhere!!!

Ahaha thanks for everyones input on it, but i FINALLY got it done sunday evening with a good freind of mine... Of course i used a strut compressor its kinda insane not to n try it by hand. Yea box end wrench and crescent wrench will do it along with some good ole PB! Stuff works MAGIC!!! Overall they sit clean and from what I see now they dont butterfly. Just like the reviews said too about the 350z H-Techs Springs - no camber needed! Im liking it for now, but im thinking the back is still a lil bit high. Just gonna wait for it to settle in a bit before i start to mod the bumper stopper at the rear. End results, better handling - feels a lot smoother then stock for me too. I LIIIIEEEDD IT!
