Man that sucks! The HKS is not that loud either. Haven't got hasseled yet but it is a good wake-up call.

Patrick, can you please provide with the link for that HKS info. I only found a portion of what you posted. I'm going to bookmark the said for future consideration, if needed.

Thank you, Patrick.

Hey, you're quite welcome. Unfortunately, it took for your incident for me to take this step. It's been mentioned on other boards to have info available if ever needed. I never thought that it would happen to me. However, I will bookmark the link on my phone and have it handy. Hopefully, view the info on a website will be more credible to an inquiring LEO.

damn dude that sucks right after getting out of work. Don't worry about it too much. I got a ticket for tinted windows, no front plates and loud exhaust (injen SES). Plates and tint were correctable and the exhaust was not. So i had the tint removed and bought new plates for the car. Got the ticket written off on 8th and R st in d/t Sac. The officer who signed it off has a 350Z. I didn't even have my plates on when he signed it off.

I just paid $10 for the ticket for all three violations. The officer who wrote it off didn't say anything about the exhaust.

that's cool.. maybe i'll get lucky and get signed off on exhaust as well. i would prefer to not have to waste time in court trying to fight the ticket

i don't think it's gonna be tough at all getting it signed off. Go to the same sheriff's station i went to on 8th and R. An exhaust ticket is just stupid in general. Have you checked on your ticket to see if the violation is "correctable" or not? If not, then i think they'll just sign the ticket off for you and you'll just have to pay the $10 to the court.

Dude, it doesn't matter to the officer if it's legal or not, they'll still give you the citation.

I was pulled over for "loud exhaust" when my Greddy one wasn't even loud and also is "street legal." I told the cop that and he told me to start my car. The second it started he said, "Too loud." He didn't even care if it was or not.

Either try to deal with the judge or swap back to stock.

I think we all need to have that kind of information in our car.
Thanks for the reminder and I'm sorry it happened OP.
