does anyone know where the starters located?

can anyone find a picture of where its located exactly.. ? iono if its the starter because ive been driving it all week n today from san jose back to hayward. ran a couple of errands and i was good. then when i was headin home stopped at a store.. and all of a sudden it wont turn on. all the lights interior and exterior turns on the stereo does too. but when i turn the key it just clicks clicks clicks... jump started still doesnt work.

i believe its the starter.. and it just happened today.. anyone got a 2nd opinion ?

What year is your car? I'd check your battery terminal connections, if you haven't already done so.

Not sure if you have the right tools to do this, but to test if the starter is bad you should first determine if the cranking voltage is below 10.21V. Then determine if the engine is cranking normally and if starter is turning smoothly.

you should be able to take it to any kragen / autozone and have it tested for free

Chances are its the battery, there has been a whole slew of battery issues due to the cold weather. When the weather is colder, the battery is slower to charge and your amp output is lower too. I would first just test it with a simple volt meter to see where your at voltage wise or like everyone said, have it tested at an auto parts store for free.
