I got pulled over about a week ago, a block away from my house, by my local law enforcment. Since I bought the car in August of 2002, I have NEVER put the plate on, till now
Last thing I want to do is give my friendly neighborhood law enforcement a reason to pull me over and "observe and document" me for more than just my plate. Good luck

Its black and white as far as the law goes. You just need to decide whats best for you.
