someone put a hole in my rear bumper!@*$#!@#)

so tonight, i take my car out to the grocery store to pick up some stuff and when i go to load the trunk, i notice a hole the size of baseball in my rear bumper next my license plate. WTF!

i only took my car to one place today besides the grocery store: oakland chinatown where i parked in that parking garage.

just called my insurance company to start the claim. looks like i will have to pay the deductible out of pocket. @#$@#) how much does a rear bumper skin and support thing cost for the 05/06 sedan?

take it's to the shop.. ask them for an estimate.. for example: if it's cost $300 to fix, tell them put it in $500.. send the invoice to the Insurance.. and you got $200 in your pocket..

Do not under any circumstance tell the shop to put a higher amount on the estimate. That is insurance fraud and you will end up with zero and a jail stay. The insurance company knows what the prices are for parts and repairs. Stay out of jail and be honest about it, take it from an insurance guy.

i will check with the parking garage but i doubt it.

my guess is that it was a trailer hitch or someone who really didn't like my car and vandalized it.
