Like Kris mentioned, you will need to purchase a jdm double din kit and ac controller. You cannot cut out the factory stereo as the ac and stereo share the same circuit boards. Those two pieces will run you around $300.

As for the steering wheel controls, you can get them to work with my aftermarket stereos. You need to buy a steering wheel control interface from PAC.

As for pictures, there are tons in the audio/video forum. Please check it out or search.

if you go to the car audio area of this forum you can find plenty of pictures of an aftermarket in dash stereo/dvd player. also you can retain the steering controls on an aftermarket reciever with the help of a PAC SWI-PS steering wheel control interface.

The SWI-PS will only work with Pioneer and Sony headunits. The SWI-JACK works with JVC, Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood. The SWI-ECL works with Eclipse, etc.
