any mods can tell me why?

my G35driver.com sticker thread got closed down both in here and on the classifieds. I was doing alright, sold quite a bit, at absolutely no profit or markup. I was posting pics of the ones I had and someone asked me where I got mine. I talked to the sticker guy who didnt want to deal with multiple orders so I fronted all the money and had them print up a big batch for me in different colors to sell. Considering it is free advertising for this site and I wasnt making any money off of them... $6.50 shipped a set of 2 etc. Can someone tell me why it was closed down? Its been up for like 3-4 months.

+1 for this guy...I'm sure it was looked at as selling product without being a sponsor, but he was a great resource to get some Driver gear because we can't get it anywhere else. I always felt he was doing it for the rest of us instead of personal gain.

txgcoupe is now the official supplier of stickers and logo items.
I'm not sure of the politics and such behind the decision, only that it was posted in the moderators area.

I'd pm O NO if you have any questions.

So there aren't any "unofficial" sticker and logo items sales permitted?

I didn't even know there was an official sticker seller now...if so...then I can see the politics behind deleting the thread.

Thanks though Kashow...I know many of us appreciate what you did for that period when we had no sponsor doing it.

Gillian,

Thank you for handling the response.

Phil,

I am the one whom deleted your thread.

You have afforded the NCG community a great service. As such, many members are quite thankful to you for your efforts.

Unfortunately, your thread and the like was subject to deletion some time ago. I took a bit of latitude and extended the life of the said threads.

I actually locked your thread, last week, and posted a note of the upcoming deletion . . . And asked that all unfinished business be handled via PMs.

I trust that you understand my position.
