Bay Area Dealerships
I just had my car serviced (30k service) at Infiniti of Pleasanton and I have to say, what an experience. This is the first time I’ve had the car serviced outside of Oakland Infiniti and I am sad to say that I didn’t purchase my car from Pleasanton.
At Pleasanton the people are friendly and not pompous like at Oakland, they take the time to explain issues and go the extra mile to provide customer service… Let me clarify by saying that at Oakland Infiniti the internet sales guy (Jamie) and the sales manager that sold my car to me were excellent, but they left shortly after my purchase. I also just learned that Oakland Infiniti isn’t under the same ownership (Hendrick) as Pleasanton Infiniti?
Example of Pleasanton’s stellar customer service: After I passed 22k, I started to hear this clicking noise from the clutch right after it fully engaged. This would happen 7/10 shifts. At Oakland, they just joyrided my car with the stereo on (how do I know this? I get back into the car after a service and my radio is on to some hiphop station, I sure wish I spied on them.. I just hope they didn’t f*ck up my car too much) I bring my car in for the 30k service at Pleasanton and Clint doesn’t try to sell me on additional service, just takes the time to process my car. I explain my clutch noise and he goes for a ride with me, while servicing the car they can’t recreate the issue and ask me to come back to test ride with a mechanic. Mechanic hears the issue and they replace the entire clutch assembly after finding a warped spring. Seeing the level of quality, I had them detail my car as well. I couldn’t be happier.
Anyhow, just wanted to share my two Bay Area dealer experiences. I’ve never purchased a car from the same dealership, but after the service I’ve received… if the level of service maintains, I can see myself purchasing my next car from this dealership.

i know gia had a bad experience with peninsula infiniti; however, i've had really good experiences there. i've been bringing my car there for servicing since day one and have a really good rapport with brian reidy. got both axle clicks fixed, got a new rear view mirror(rattle), fuel gauge thingy fixed, two driver side window motor replaced, etc. when i got my 2nd driver's side window regulator replaced, i literally had 2 days left on my warranty. yeah, dealers cost more but if your car is under warranty, it's better to have it serviced there for peace of mind....plus everything is documented.

+1 for Inifiniti of Pleasanton. Bought my car there at a good price. The service writers and warranty work is excellent. I brought the car in for a cruise control surge but they couldn't reproduce. I get a call from the same service writer a month later saying there is a new TSB and to bring it on in. Nice follow up.

Service on the other hand has been great. I've dealt with all three of the service advisors Dan E., Michael T. and Amit P. and they have been nothing short of accommodating and helpful. I had them warranty work on some squeaks, but other than that it's been nothing but service and oil changes. (the 07 loaners are a great perk too)

I have taken my Car there for everything..All my mods, details, etc..Amit/Dan/Clint/Mike...you can go down the line...those guys are great..Pleasanton, by far is the best service dept. in the bay area..Just to let you know my cousin has told me that both Penisula and Oakland service depts. take our cars out to lunch instead of the loaners..that is some bull****
