Interior lighting

Hey guys. Does anyone know how to or know of a shop that can change all my interior lighting to blue or xenon white? I am so tired of looking at the boring Scion TC amber orange lighting. Thanks.

Not sure about a shop that'll do that kind of work. Its a long process and will cost you more in labor than parts.

One of our members, Dave (accordfreak) did a DIY on this and his actually looks pretty good. Do a search.

Good luck.

Hey Eldin. changing out the lights inside is VERY easy to do. I can give you a hand doing that if you like. I changed all mine out for Cool Whites. my G37 will be just a bit different than your G35, but it's pretty similar.

I believe he is talking about the gauge cluster and air conditioning/radio controls.

You might want to offer him an incentive....lots of cash. Check out his sig, I think theres a link to his DIY. You will see all the work involved in doing something like that.

Yeah I did offer to pay him for his work. I am really good at fixing things, but when it comes to electronics I rather not even mess with it. I hope he will be willing to do it cuz I am so tired of looking at those orange lighting. I really don't know what Infiniti was thinking.

I'm sure David would love to offer a tip or two, but as for actually taking on the task of re-doing some else's interior lighting, I believe he's said in the past that he's just too afraid of messing up someone else's car.

I guess we will just wait and see when he replies back. If he doesn't do it, then I am gonna go hunting for a tuner shop that will do it.

^^ If you offer him a nice incentive, he might consider helping you.

Good luck!
