What trunk you have that in? If all that was in a G trunk, there would be no room for anything else...

One time my brother did 2 JL 12W3v3's, a 500/1, 300/4 and a Cleansweep all in the trunk of a coupe. It was a custom rear-firing sealed box with a false floor housing the two amplifiers under plexiglass. There was still plenty of trunk space left.

i got mines done with bing...a few years back...i put the idq10 in with a 4080 box on the passenger side. i had the same concerns as you. the idq10 was perfect for my needs. if you want more bass, just turn it up with the equilizer, no distortion...however this is only based off of my experience with idq10. i havent heard the idmax10 so i cant compare. one installer i talked to told me that if you dont want so much bass just turn it down...it is so true...i say just get idmax10 and if tis too much, turn it down. some days you just want a **** load of bass. idq10 can do it but i cant imagine wahat idmax can do. be careful of the bass too, in terms of rattling, my idq shakes my trunk and makes noises (no dynamate) so idmax would prob do the same. from what i see in his pics, the idmax takes up more space, but if that doesnt matter to you then go ofr it. any other questions let me know.

After hearing several of Bings setups with IDQ, I personally felt the bass was lacking. It is all in the ear of the beholder as to what "alot" of bass is. For me I listen to havy bass and have had many setups with dual 15's and 4 12's. I found that the IDMAX 10 was very good with bass and a compromise for me so I can gain my trunk space. This sub can fit in a 4080 box with only 2" added onto it.

Do you guys know if they make a remote bass control **** i can put on my dash.
I have 2 12' eclipse subs in a custom box, and quite honestly, Its friggin loud.
I am running this sub off of an eclipse xa1200.
the cabin has 4 infinity 6.5 references hooked up to an eclipse xa4200.
I mounted the amps behind the seats. I used 2 locs and left the bose amp in place and tapped the wires before they enter the bose amp.
I ripped out the bose 8' paper sub, (crap, and yes its an 8' bose sub, what a joke)
Do you know of any universal types?
the amp has an input for this, but I cant find it.
Any input (other than get a new sub set up) is appreicated.
