Audio Installs by Bing - Simplicity in Sound

I am looking for anyone who has had Bing do an audio install. Im still undecided as to what equipment to get and wanted to possibly meet up with someone to listen to their setup. I have no problems in driving to meet you just as long as we are not talking Sacramento distance. I know there are a few in SF. Eugene, you on here?

Thanks in advance...

Troy

I am doing complete reinstall:
subs
amps
DD
wiring
bluetooth
components
sound dampening

Bing has some good ideas and almost stealth design. I just need to hear some installs so I know how the setup sounds in the G.

Anyone know anything about Image Dynamic subs??

He originally wanted to install a IDQ10 but I felt the bass would not be enough. After going over some options, Im looking at getting a IDMAX10 powered with about 800 watts in a modded 4080 box. Im just curious to hear someone who had the IDQ10 in the 4080 and how much bass its pushing out.

Giacomo, I still wanna hear your setup next week.

I know Bing has done several Gs in the area so someone has to be on the forum or at least know of someone who got work done by Bing.

it is really hard, if not impossible to reproduce the sound in someone's car in a video.

I would never use YouTube to determine how sub quality is. Most of the time, the people are idiots and dont even have the system set up properly. The quality of those depends on how good the microphone of camera is.

I have heard that the IDs are better sealed. I have usually had sealed setups in my vehicles. The JLs are best ported so thats why your W6 is set up as it should. I have questions for you Giacomo, but I will wait til the meet since it will be easier that way.

Any luck Troy? might want to post this over at my350z. For some odd reason, whichever G35s been installed by Bing arent very active on the NorCal forum at all. But at every least? you wont have to worry about the quality of the workmanship from Bing.

Hey Bing! What is your opionion of using OLD School Phoenix Gold Amps? I used to use these when I competed Way Back in the days. I'm clueless of Car audio now. MQ-430 for the Seperates 30 watts X 4. MPS 2240 to Power the subs. I last used this on 2 12" JL Audio 12 W 6's. Or Should I use new Amps as they would be more efficent? I finally decided to keep my car so i want to put a system in With a Double Din DVD. Thanks for any Input, David

old PG stuff, regardless if you are talking about hte limited edition, the MS, the ZX, the zeropoint, the MQ the XS, (maybe a few others) are all very nice stuff, the only downside you would run into, is that iwth equipment beingolder, it may not last as long as new quality stuff, i do think there are amps out today that are in some ways better than the old PG stuff, but honestly, there are a LOT more that more much more crappier...its not a lot of poewr for your seprates, it all depends on your goal

Troy, you should be able to hear this G35 with the idmax10 on wednesday if you can make it...

i think it shoul dhave more of hte kind of bass you would like, though as i said, subs that have by the normal definition of having great SQ, usually wont do that great when it comes to bass CDs with the long, continuous blasts of very high volume ultra low notes

but you are welcome to take a listen hehe
