Pat, your headlights look sick man, straighten and sharpen up the cutoffs and they'll be perfect.
speaking of which... since i dropped my car lower in the front than in the rear, the cutoff is WAAYY to low now. probably only 30ft in front of the car... not terribly safe for night driving. i need to adjust it pretty soon.

Then i modified the metal guide piece like on IvoryGT's DIY to allow the shield to sit up higher (otherwise impossible to get more color). My original way was to take out the metal guide altogether, but that caused way too much vibration and allowed the shield to bounce up and down when the car was moving.
My problem now is that the shields need to be played with to get a nice even cut off while maintaining color throughout the cutoff. The shields are so flimsy that it is hard to do precisely. It's more like playing with it and hoping that you can bend both sides evenly and straight. So right now my lights are useable and have nice color, but the cutoff as you can see is blurry at longer distances and slightly crooked. I guess I will be taking them apart again later this week. It is such a pain... actually now that i've done it twice, I can do it pretty quickly, but I have found that the most annoying part is removing and putting the bumper back on.

Thanks for the compliment John... definitely going to fix the my cutoff soon. For your lights, is it simple to adjust the vertical cutoff as with the G35s? Don't the G37s have the auto-leveling or adaptive headlights which adjust themselves?

i'll have to drive out to a warehouse at night to do the adjustments. the service manual has a decent guide, but i think they err on the side of caution. i've saved a thread on here with the DOT regulations for cutoff height, so i'll just use that.
