I got my exhaust used so it might not be as tight but this is what I would do:

Get a stick that will fit into the silencer with just a little room to spare (ex. the pole for your floor jack), and wiggle the stick around until the silencer comes out. I did that to get mine out, but put them back in as soon as I heard how loud it is. BTW... Tell me if you downpipe hits that black undercarriage frame piece. Mine was rubbing and I have a slight rust spot on my downpipe. I need to figure out how to re-adjust the exhaust so it doesn't touch/rub (which is why I took it out in the first place).

do you mean you just got a stick and moved it around and it popped out? or you wedged it in and pulled? I will try that but it may be hard since its installed already. What black undercarriage piece are you talking about. The little one on the passenger side right near the exhaust tip? My midpipe just barely misses my differential which seems like a bad idea since it could rub :-/

haha i no.. hey everyone's said they've never heard of bad fitment issues with the topspeed, and i emailed a picture of my exhaust to the guy i bought it from at topspeed and he said he's never heard of any problems either.. do you think we did something wrong? Do you think we could check it out this week sometime? I'll jack it up and everything if you'll take a look with me

I meant put a large stick into the exhaust, not try to wedge it between the silencer and the exhaust.

Damn... I wish I checked here before I installed mine today, so I could take pics and show you what I mean, since I just used a floor jack to lift the car and propped it up on ramps. The black undercarriage piece (I believe) is about midway in the car, and if I remember correctly, is just a little bit after you connect the downpipe to the Y-Pipe, and I think before the resonator.

And the tips behind the bumper is normal for us who have the 3 in. version, because that's originally intended for the Z's, which would require us to either extend it, or live with it. I chose to live with it.

How do you like the sound so far?

Yes, it is black in color. You can see it in this pic I got offa ebay:

BTW... if you think it sounds mean now, imagine how bad it would be with the silencers out... That and I just had my Y-pipe installed today... I'm afraid to pull my silencers out to hear what it sounds like now because I already notice it's worse... I think I'm going to die when I put the headers in. HAHAHAHA

Should've just left the silencers alone, Evan.
