GOOD MORNING, EVERYBODY!!!!!! What a great day!!!! Just a pull over for front window tint and STILLEN intake ON MY WAY TO WORK. He was asking for a carb sticker proof for my intake, but i didn't get any of that when i got my intake. Now, i need to go get a State Referee Cretification for Emission Violation. I also have HKS exhaust, but he didn't seem to ask too much on that.

Help?

Yea stillen doesn't give out carb stickers for their intakes. Its funny ken cause I got popped for the same shyt too but not tint. Goto the state ref in alameda. They passed me with my hks on there but I took off my arc intake and put back the stock one cause I didn't have a carb number.

 

^Damn just when I thought Cali was cool for smooth roads. Seems that emmisions is a **** over there.

 

I'm not going to clown cops cause g35 chrippie is going to say something lol but I have driven by tons of cops with my exhaust and they didn't pull me over. But a chp sitting on the side of the freeway while I'm on cruise control going 65 sees my white led licence plate lights and saya they are blue then pops me for everything else ... Boo

 

ahh sorry to hear. i got a speeding ticket 2 days ago >.< cant say i wasnt free of guilt but at least i wasnt endangering anyone...

 

i got pulled over before for the same thing, except they also got me for my exhaust. if your intake doesn't have a carb sticker, just put the stock back on, get it signed off, and re-install the stillen intake later.

but for the tint...that sucks, you gotta take it off.

at least he didn't get your exhaust. cuz then you'd have to get it smogged and what not. and even after that there could be a fine. i still had to pay like $200ish i think, even though my exhaust passed smog.

 

JWT Pop Chrgr comes with CARB sticker. Stillen's SC is CARB approved, but not on their intakes? Weird....

sucks i didnt know i still had to pay after i got the ticket.... damn 134 bucks.... but at least i can wave the complience sticker in their face now! AHHAHA

 

Is there a way to get the Stillen intake sticker??? Is there a fine to all of these afterward? No, he complain about the exhaust but didn't write down on that. Yes, he DID want me to pop the HOOD!!! Come on, man. We are all going to work and he knows that! My car looks hella stock anyway!!! HE even TOOK PICTURE!!!!! OMG.
