You might get a better estimate on the detailing job if you posted some pics of your ride in the sun. So you can see the swirls, hazing, scratches, or whatever else that might be on your paint.

I have to start looking into detailers again. Last time I had my car detailed, I ended up with hella swirl marks (holograms). He re-did it and it came out better but they are still some there. I didn't have the time to go back, but I am just gonna try someone new this time.

Apparently ADS Mobile in San Bruno is pretty good.

what's the price range of a good detail? A gas station is asking for $200 for full service. I checked it out while they were doing a black Jeep. It looks pretty good. They had 3 people working on it, but they don't look professional to me.

I'm a hobbyist and only do this for fun, the results are very rewarding and almost therapeutic; it's good to see neglected paint restored .

So I don't charge a lot at all, for what I do - I'd say below competitive. A complete mid-size car job takes me usually between 3-6 hours depending on the correction needed.

I usually only do it on weekends, but with the right job I may take a day off from my full time. I do Structural Engineering as my full time so I'm very detail oriented.

PM me if ya interested

PM member ZainoDetailer. His name is Hemant and he lives in Fremont. He does the work out of his house and he does excellent work, he's also a great guy. Many members have had their cars detailed by him on multiple occasions.
