My intake violation charge came in last night.....
3 weeks ago, i got a ticket for stillen intake, beause the CHP didn't recongize the EO number on the intake. Last night the ticket came in, it was $391!!!!! I guess i have no choice by to fight it in court. Anyone familiar with the procedure? I heard i need to go for two trials, because they need to have the CHP come on the second one. I will run down to make an appointment @ fremont court in the afternoon.

This should be easy to fix...but still a nightmare!
Holy Crap, Ca. must really need quick cash. It wouldn't hurt if you happen to
have the receipt from the intake, but take a pic of the intake/number visible.
Have one of the local cops verify that it's really there then go before the
judge and explain the situation. You did nothing wrong, it was an error on the
CHP's part that wrote the ticket. If this ever happens again I'm sure you be
quick to point out the number to the CHP....right?

The CHP took a picture of my intake, i am sure you can see the EO number on it. Isn't the judge has to summon the CHP if I plea NOT gulity?
take in the eo number and picture as proof, as well info online from the company about it being carb legal to the arraignment portion. the judge might throw it out right there instead of making you go to trial i would guess.

I seriously don't think I will be that lucky.

Holy crap.. Dude that sucks.. I haven't seen my ticket yet, BUT I also got caught without the EO number, BUT only because I bought my JWT pop-charger used and the sticker was removed. DAMN!
I don't know how to prove that I do have the pop-charger, but I'll print the EO document if I decide to fight the ticket.
I haven't seen my ticket yet (its at my mom's house) but I asked my sister to look at it and she says that there's no amount indicated.
Good luck with yours man.
