Not sure if everyone knows but I figured I would pass the word. Check it out http://smogcheck.ca.gov/

what do i do if i have an outstanding ref ticket? i just called the # on the ticket and the voice mail said the same thing as your link.

Does that mean no more tickets for smog-related stuff or those tickets will still be served but with no way of fixing it...

This is the first I'm hearing about this. We have not been given any marching orders yet. Most likely they will tell us to keep issuing tickets. Oh yeah, I like the link that says "Governor Declares July Smog Awareness Month." Doesn't quite go hand in hand with the item at the top of the page.
