wow, Fremont judge is the best.

Many of you guys know my CHP ticket story, I don't want to write it again.

I went to Fremont court this morning. Lined up outside the courtroom 4am in the morning and the door opened at 8am. The whole thing didn't start until 9:30am. I got my turn @ around 10:45am

My charges were:
- emission violation (not really) - $391
- Window tint - If fix $25, if not $190

I show the judge my State referee paper, he dismiss my emission violation and he signed off my window tint ADVANCE!! (I haven't done it yet). I end up paying $10 for this $500+ ticket. I am really satisfied and not regret waiting for 4 hours in the morning.

WHAAAAAAAT?? You are so lucky man.. Congratulations.. I hope I get your luck, but mine is probably going to be a battle because my court is at San Mateo which is a city who hands fix/state-ref tickets like pancakes for fixed-up cars.. Going there this Thursday and try to contest it.

Oh, my violation is $1331.23 BUT, $1100 if I show a proof-of-correction. WTF!

So your violation is the 27156b VC right?

Fremont court is retarded. you got to go there early, because they only take 75 people in the morning court. I was #40 when i got there at 4am. If you get there at 5am, you will be at the 70s range. The next 75 people will be in the afternoon court. Anyone after that will be send home and "try again".

On Thursday, they will take 75 only!! They do not care how many people waiting in the back, nor if you are the #76 person. I tried on last Thursday and i was #121 and got sent home.

nimdivino, WTF? What do you have in your car cost that much?? It's not like you are driving a 1000hp Supra.

Yea, the judge only wants my State referee paperwork. He doesn't even care about anything else. But then, he's a very very nice judge. More than 50% people got their camera ticket dismiss and the rest were half fine deduction.

Hey Ken,
Didn't you have the option to schedule a court-date? Atleast when I got my speeding ticket before, I had the option to see the judge that day, or schedule a court-date. Difference is, on your scheduled court-date, the police-officer will be there.

Fremont Court only has walk-in court (Restrict to Tues and Thurs, too), unless if you are going on a trial. I heard this has been going on for 6 months and people seem to come in earlier and earlier to beat other people. Some people just camp over night, chair, sleeping bed, radio, coffice. My position was next to the Bus-stop bench, I just sat there and slept(kinda). it's very cold, too.
