looks really good Don.
i guess when Friday rolls around, we'll find what other choices we have to choose from. take in mind these will be die-cut and placed in the quarter panel window. most of us have it tinted, but it will also need to stand out on a non-tinted window.
i like image 2 and 5, but both we'll need to get rid of the northern cali... it won't stand out in the decal.
Don, can you make the lettering in white and the bridge a dark silver and put it on a black background so we can see what it'll look like? maybe also highlight "G35". no real reason to only highlight the "G"
keep up the great work

Re: Golden Gate G35 Club Needs Help With Decal!!!
I agree with the "G35" being highlighted instead of just the "G".
I'm still in favor of the more business-like (serif type) fonts.. if we go with script-type fonts, they should not be too flowery or difficult to read from a distance.
Thanks for your input everyone. Ricardo, I guess we're sorta still working with your mockups to figure out a 'final' design...?

I kinda like 1 and 2...
I think we need to have something underneath it, it kinda completes it more..
Also, the bridge will be hard to work on since I just copied the image from one of the post...but we shall c..
I will work on this wen I get home..

Re: Golden Gate G35 Club Needs Help With Decal!!!
p.s. - regarding the tagline below the logo...
i think it's fine, close to how we did it on the business cards.
however, that being said, i think a decal should not have too much text on it... a logo and our name should be enough to clue-people into what's up.
i'd encourage the use of tag-lines with the logo on *other* items such as flyers/business cards/websites/tshirts.

I sent Vinh my design. I can work on it some more. Dyenboy those ideas are cool but keep in mind that these will be die cut. All those lil lines will not come out very well. The design should not be very detailed oriented but instead a general concept that still emphasizes our club name. I would love to hear feedback from all. I can do pretty much anything with the lettering such as curves, font variations, etc. Please also keep in mind that this should be only a 2-color process unless we are going to get a deal on outputting 3-4 color process. The final version will be in .EPS format since this is the way it should be with all graphics.

Hmmmm A name change. Why would there be concern with changing the name already. In any case, I will be happy to do work on logos and stickers if we do change the name. Ill keep posted to the forum to see what the news is on this but im sure we will all be emailed upon any change as such.
