some of my kids don't know what it's like to be outside of san jose. one of my kids today asked me if monterey was near LA. he kind of smiled with embarrassment when i told him it was only about an hour away.

i just feel that exposing them to more options, can only help them and motivate them to strive for more. in a way, you can't strive for something you don't even know exists. i wouldn't have visited colleges if it weren't for my parents. im just basically a full-time mommy to about 350+ kids looking for their way in life.

high schoolers... this trip is for juniors and seniors, so 16-17 yrs old.
