Hwy 24 drivers

Be careful! There's heavy CHP action on the road.
Last night I saw 4 cars strategically placed from Orinda through Walnut Creek.
They were all actively pulling over people except for the last one hidden under the trees at the Pleasant Hill exit.

There are tons of CHP in these days. Same thing as 880 hayward - san jose section. I drive really slow (under 70) in these days and still get the look from them all the time.

Really? Cause my office is at an all time low for number of road officers. We have less than have of what we should. And I work for what is supposed to be one of the biggest offices in the state.

Maybe it's a month-end kind of thing? Quotas to fill?

No, it's constantly starting last month. Maybe i didn't notice how much of them before and much more sensitive after my ticket, but now they just appear to me all the time. Just last week, i saw 3 CHP bikers park on the emergency lane together, use their LAZSER gun and pulling people over on the far left lane. I just keep it under 70mph most of the time now.

There were two this morning.
One was a motorcycle cop.

Cruise control FTW.

You're on the road earlier than I am Paul. The rush hour traffic seems to be breaking up when I'm commuting. At least from what I've seen during rush hour there's not really anything to do other than get in line and go. Later on there's more bunches of cars that leads to the burst of speed to get around them.

(I never do that).

ya they are definitely out in force recently, on 85 right above 280 they are always at least 1 or 2 chps on either side.

That's what happens when you get pulled-over. hehehe. I'm pretty quick spotting cops, I just hate getting pulled-over. Rachel is quick now too (her girlfriends even compliments her) she got pulled over like twice already. haha.

I don't know Chippie

I have seen more officers than I have ever seen on 880, On my way to work from san jose to san leandro I see at least 3 on the way home any where from 4-6
that seems like a lot for me.
But you are the one that know what you should have on the road!
