I am looking at the 52" new LCD. Just wonder if anyone works in an electronic store.

Just make sure you dont skimp on the quality... Plasma is forgiving when converting to HDTV but LCD is not.

You should check out Fry's... they're getting rid of their old models, so you can find a good 52" for about a G... some Mitsubishi and Sharp are going for less while Samsungs are going for just over.

I am actually looking at the Sony XBR, I am looking for the 4th Gen, since the 5,6,7,8 just came out.

+1 for the XBR4. My folks got the 46XBR4, the thing is beautiful!!!!!!! I'm looking for an LCD also right now, lemme know if you find a good deal somewhere, If they got a buy one get one half deal I might be down to split something with u or w/e. I know bestbuy offers 12 months or 2 years with 0% apr financing, just something to think about.

No, i want something nice and will last 10 yrs. Just like my current 38" Sony TV. It was one hell of a TV in 10 yrs ago.

I am aiming for the 52" XBR6, but it's kinda pricey (especially in such gay econ). Best buy is selling it for $2900, Circuit City is selling it for $2400.


Buy 1 get 1 half off? I think they are not that low, yet.
