Headlight Mods - LEDs / Color Mods / Angel Eyes

Can someone help me find a local shop that does good quality work on headlight modifications. I am looking to get some LEDs installed my 06 projectors. I also want to get them color modded as well. The thought of angel eyes has crossed my mind as they now have LED angel eyes as I am not a fan of CCFL ones. I would be willing to drive up to Sac area to get them worked on as well so if you folks up there have any ideas, please chime in. Any local folks with experience that wanna help me out and get some cash, let me know. I wanna get these done in next few weeks.

Thanks

Yup... And I wanted them in the clearance light area like in the 04s. I was gonna have IvoryGT do them but he does not do light mods anymore..

I dont see them on yours Kris?? Steve has his LED in a different location and his clearance is different, not individual LEDs. Ive been looking to get this done for quite some time, just never had the lights.... There are at least 10 others that have this done so you will never be the only ones...

Only reason I ask is because mounting led's in that general area may cause them to burn out prematurely as heat kills leds. I have a buddy that did that on his IS350 and another friend that tried it on his F-150 and they both burned out within a year.

Looks sick as fvck though.

Have you tried talking to X-Vert? He does INCERDIBLE work. He is located in NY, and he has done MANY peoples headlights on here. He does the IRONMAN mod for the newer models. PM him, or search for him. If all else fails, pm me.

I know IvoryGT had not had any issues with them as the result of heat. Not sure if it depends on the type of LED used. Im just hoping that there are people out there that know of a place who can do it and who are not being selfish.

A few members have offered to do this mod for me. The only issue with that is Id have to ship them somewhere and hope I get them back. Also, there would be no warranty or physical place I can go to if something were to happen to them. I want to make sure the job gets done well and there are not any leaks.

Well i am pretty sure that X-vert gives a loaner set. So you send him yours, he does them, and sends them back. So your car doesnt have to go down. I know ivory did this. I know what you mean about the leaking and crap. I got mine done, and were perfect, then a small hole must have started and now i gotta get them fixed. Its a PITA, so i know what you mean. But its a small chance that it will happen. I say talk to Vert, see what he says about it, and go from there. Id rather get it done by someone who has a good reputation, and knows what he is doing, then a shop who prob hasnt done it before. The only other people i know, are clearcorners. They are expensive however, though they have a warranty i think.

Tim... all I know is that IvoryGT did the work. Here is the thread from HIDPlanet. You may have to create a login to view the thread.

I wont have to worry about a loaner set since mine are still boxed up. Im trying to find other lights that X Vert has done. I saw some for a G37 but he said on the thread that it cant be dome for a G35. Looks like the LEDs are on the outside of projector.
