Hey guys, just a heads-up/reminder that when the unemployment rate goes up, so does crime.

The catalytic converter off my pickup was stolen this week and I am pissed.

 

Yep I been hearing alot of stories about that lately on the news channels.

I was going to say the G is pretty low from factory for them to get underneath it.

 

It's happened to a few people I know. Mainly Toyota 4-Runners and Tacomas.

that sucks, so if you cats get stolen do they have to be an OEM replacement to pass smog or get you get some high flows?

 

they are worth money, depending on the model of car they came off of. They have precious metals in them

well i got a couple from my truck i went straight pipes on it do you know where i could sell them?

 

A recycling center should give you a couple hundred bucks for each.

 

Check your local recycling places on whether or not they will give you cash for them. Rates depend on how much precious metal they can get from them and the current going rate.

I was going to recycle mine a couple months ago, but platinum prices at the time were low so I just held on to mine just in case I decided to part out the car.

 

man these have been sitting in my garage for 3 years man i didnt know that they gave that much shoot i was expecting $20 bor both lol im going Recycl center hunting

 

my vans got stolen before too

 

mine on my truck are dying... i almost wish someone would steal them...

 

My 4Runner's cats got stolen a while back... too lazy to replace them so the Runner just sits in the front yard, cat-less.
